Ford EcoSport is the car that started the subcompact SUV trend in the automobile market. For a long time this small-sized SUV needed to be updated to make it easier to compete with the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Tata NExon that are competing in the market. Ford needed to make its car smarter and better, and Ford has done the same, with new styling, upgraded interior, smart features and a brand new 1.5-liter petrol engine in the new Acosport facelift.

Surprisingly and sadly, Ford has now removed the 1.0-liter Acoboost engine in the Acosport, but this engine enthusiast has come to fruition and Ford launched the Acosport S variant in early May with the top model The company has installed a 1.0-liter Acoboost engine. In terms of appearance, the Acosport facelift has changed significantly from the exterior and interior, which the company has recently upgraded to the Titanium S variant. The EcoSport Titanium S gets dark smoked exterior styling, smoked HID projector headlamps with new black grille and integrated LED daytime running lamps. Along with this, black-out roof rails and 17-inch smoked alloy wheels have been added to give the SUV look.

Appearance, the Acosport facelift has changed significantly from the exterior and interior.
Talking about the cabin of the new Ford Acosport, orange color finish has been given on the dashboard of the car to give a refreshed look, while the upholsterer has also been given to match this color. The Ford Acosport Titanium Plus and S variants have an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system equipped with the SYNC 3 feature and support Apple Car Play and Android Auto. The steering wheel in the car has many functions and the SUV has been given an electric sunroof which the company has named Fun Roof. The Ford Acosport S trim has an updated instrument cluster that comes with a chrome surround and tire pressure monitoring system.

Orange color finish has been given on the dashboard of the car to give a refreshed look.
To give a sporty feel, the SUV has been fitted with metal full paddles and in terms of safety, the Cara has been equipped with the best features. These include 6 airbags (front, side and curtain airbags), EBD with ABS, Ford Mikey for keyless entry and reverse parking camera as standard. Traction control, electronic stability control, brake assist and hill start assist are provided as part of the package along with the SUV. As we have already said, the Ford Acoboost engine is nothing new for the SUV, the company has imported the engine from Europe and installed it in the car without any changes.

The new Acosport has a 3-cylinder Acoboost engine equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox. This engine is very powerful and we experienced it completely while driving this SUV in Chennai. The power of this engine is realized as soon as it reaches 3000 rpm and the car starts generating 123 bhp power after crossing 6000 rpm. The car engine generates 170 Nm peak torque between 2000–4500 rpm. The way to reach the place where we saw the SUV was quite inaccessible and we have seen it driving on the raw paths. In such a situation where the SUV passed through a bad path, we did not have to hit a little brake while sitting inside.

With this price, the S variant has become the most expensive subcompact SUV with petrol engine which is being sold in the market at the moment. However, in terms of features, this car is really very strong in comparison. Even after the price is high, this car can be called money. Apart from this, a 1.5-liter engine has also been provided with the EcoSport Titanium S which generates 99 bhp power.
