Japan's bike manufacturer Yamaha has started the new year in India by launching the new generation FZ, which has an ex-showroom price of Rs 95,000 in Delhi, while the bike's FZ-S model has been priced at Rs 97,000. Compared to the previous model, Yamaha  has introduced the new 2019 Yamaha FZ-S V3.0 with many major changes. In these, the bike has been given an antilock braking system in general with an all new design theme, improved engine and performance. Explain that the government of India has made it mandatory to provide antilock braking system with bikes of 125cc and above capacity from April 2019.

Yamaha is also providing dual-channel ABS along with FZ and FZ-S, whose Delhi showroom price is Rs 1.33 lakh and Rs 1.44 lakh respectively. Yamaha has also launched a new phaser with the FZ range, whose Delhi Ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 1.43 lakh. The new generation FZ looks much different and attractive than the old model. The bike gets a new full-LED dual pod headlamp with new fuel tank and enhanced tank shrouds. The bike also gets new single piece seats, new alloy wheels, redesigned fenders, upgraded turn indicators and a new exhaust cover. The instrument console is similar but has been updated to provide many new information.

The company has also made major changes in the engine of 2019 Yamaha FZ V3.0. The company has installed a 149cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine in the bike which now generates 13.2 bhp power and 12.8 Nm peak torque and this engine is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox. The suspension system of the bike is similar, while both the wheels have been equipped with disc brakes in which the company has given single-channel ABS. In India, it will compete with bikes like Honda CB Hornet 160R, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and Hero Extreme 200R. The bike costs Rs 10,000 more than the old model and the company has started booking it.
